O panorama para SE:

Incrível como há tantas horas e a frente não entra com vigor em terra. Mas vai entrar certo? Isso é que preocupa creio. Com estes movimento de lesma serão muitas horas de chuva intensa e vento forte

Dado que o que vemos é um fluxo sul-norte, longitudinal em relação à frente, a intensidade da frente ao longo da sua extensão é variável.
Penso que quando finalmente se deslocar para Leste, poderá ser um segmento já com menos força, e era isso que se via nas previsões dos modelos de hoje às 00:00.

Na rede amadora WU, é possível distinguir-se com esta situação de vento forte e fraca precipitação quais são as estações não fiáveis relativamente aos registos pluviométricos.
Os mastros dos pluviómetros abanam e é registar sem corresponder ao que na verdade entra.

Numa rápida revista pelo Litoral Centro, estas são algumas cujos acumulados devem ser ignorados.

Desde as 11:00 que o extremo Oeste do Litoral Centro começou com precipitação significativa, num isolamento quase perfeito em relação ao resto do continente.

Realmente hoje é um dia bom para vermos quais as estações com falsos registos de precipitação por causa do vento.
Essa de Coimbra já vai com 70mm.

 

["Charneca" Mundial]

Até ao momento os aguaceiros puxados a vento acumularam um total de 1,5 mm. No entanto, esse valor de precipitação está prestes a aumentar de forma relevante, à medida que a frente entra finalmente com força. E a situação no radar nem está tão má assim - veremos o que acontece e esperemos que não ocorra nada de mau!
