Weather Situation: A line of storms is producing heavy rainfall over the western Top End this morning.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Wadeye, Batchelor, Adelaide River, Dundee Beach, Marrakai and Daly River Mouth.

82.4 mm of rainfall was recorded in an hour at Wadeye this morning. Upper Adelaide River also recored 75.5 mm per hour.
